REGULAR MAINTENANCE
The maintenance of the skis should not be considered as an optional, but as an indispensable ritual whose purpose is to keep the sliding and sealing characteristics of your skis as unaltered as possible.
Smoothness is guaranteed by the sole while sealing is guaranteed by the edges.
Keep them in order!
REPAIR INSOLE
When the ski sole has defects, it must be restored.
The imprint is a design on the ski insole prepared with a Wintersteiger machine. The footprint of the insole varies according to the type of snow and other considerations of the ski-man (the technician specialized in the preparation of the skis).
Accentuating the footprint increases the smoothness and handling of the ski.
Slightly rough and slightly wrinkled footprints are used on colder snowfall, while deeper footprints will be used for more humid snowfall.
SKI WAXING
Wax is a substance made up of resins and hydrocarbons and other mineral substances. The wax is applied to the insole to improve its performance and smoothness.
The application of the wax on the insole can be done approximately every ten outings.

EDGES TUNING
The ski edges tend to lose their sharpness very quickly.
To maintain accuracy in skiing it is good to do maintenance often.
Depending on the skiing technique and the type of ski, Ezio and Carlos will advise you on the best preparation of the edges which consists in choosing the ideal angle of sharpening for you.
