DO YOU KNOW SNOWSHOES?

If you haven’t tried snowshoes yet, this is the right year to start.
Snowshoes stick under mountain boots and have a dual function: they allow you to “float” on fresh snow thanks to their larger surface than the boot and not to slide on hard snow, thanks to crampons.
They are a simple and effective tool for hiking on fresh snow.

Ask for information on recommended and dedicated paths for snowshoeing.

They stick easily on all types of boots, because they have adjustable bands. The rear part raises to facilitate walking and the more complete models also have a heel lift to work less on steep climbs.

Find aluminum and plastic models, but the thing that matters is the size based on the weight. obviously a woman will have smaller and lighter snowshoes than a man, who needs a larger surface to float.

Once you put them on, you can start your walks immediately.
Some trails will take you to places you couldn’t have reached in another way. You will see panoramas and snowy woods at the cost of the rental and … a little effort. But little!
