CHOOSE SKI BASED ON THE SNOW

Putting the wax on the skis makes the ski smoother and easier to use, making the most of its technical characteristics and obtaining maximum performance. But you cannot always ski a ski in the same way.

In competitions the ski is always made to slide as smoothly as possible to go faster and in particular by combining a footprint suitable for the type of snow and the right wax. There are various types and colors, suitable for various weather conditions, the type of snow, temperature and humidity.

There are also universal waxes, but as you can imagine, they are fine for almost all snows, except when the considerations are particular.

With very wet snow, or at the end of the season, or even on particularly sunny slopes, skiing takes on a very different behavior than in the early morning in the shade and on dry snow.

It depends not only on how we know how to ski, but also on the type of ski, the type of preparation of the edges and the type of wax used.

For this reason, we always recommend asking our specialized staff for advice on renting a suitable and prepared ski for the type of snow and the weather of the day.

Sometimes, taking an “easy” ski allows you to have more fun.
